Job summary

Hello Planet Pte Ltd is a Singapore-based arm of Hello Group Inc. We are seeking a Product Designer in Singapore to craft exceptional user experiences for millions of users and lead design initiatives across the organization.

The role reports to the Head of Product and requires collaboration with global teams. A 0-5 year design background, a design/ HCI degree, and inclusive, ethical design practices are valued.

Role Overview

Hello Planet Pte Ltd is the Singapore-based arm of Nasdaq-listed Hello Group Inc. We run leading dating apps Coffee Meets Bagel, Happn, Tantan, Momo, and many others, boasting millions of users world-wide.

We seek a Product Designer to join our dynamic team in Singapore. You will play a pivotal role in crafting exceptional user experiences for a product that impacts millions of users worldwide, contributing to strategic decisions and leading design initiatives across the organization.

This role will be based in Singapore and report directly to the Head of Product.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with product and senior leadership team to influence high-level strategic decisions.
• Translate conceptual ideas into user-centric designs that enhance user engagement and satisfaction.
• Oversee the end-to-end user experience, from concept to launch and continuous iteration.
• Design intuitive flows and interfaces that align with our design principles and enhance usability.
• Proactively initiate research to gain insights into user behavior and preferences, informing design decisions effectively.
• Foster a culture of design excellence through constructive feedback and continuous improvement in design critique sessions.
• Advocate for and uphold high standards of design across the organization.
• Drive the adoption of new design practices and tools to improve efficiency and quality.
• Contribute to shaping and delivering the vision for core products, identifying and nurturing new opportunities.
• Stay abreast of cultural, technological, and behavioral trends to create innovative and functional experiences.
• Champion human-centric design principles throughout the organization.

Experience Required:

• Experience in creating and improving user experiences for large-scale consumer brands.
• Familiarity with emerging technologies and their integration into user experiences.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate user insights into impactful design solutions.
• Proactive, organized, and empathetic team player with strong multitasking abilities.
• Passionate about inclusive, accessible, and ethical design practices.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment interacting with global teams.
• Practical communication skills across English and Mandarin, both written and verbal, to present complex data insights to a diverse audience.

Qualifications:

• 0-5 years of experience in design
• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
