Job summary

Singtel is seeking a data analytics oriented student to join our team in Singapore. You will analyse customer, product and business data, and develop dashboards and visualisations that track performance.

You will translate questions into data requirements, present insights to support product decisions, and assist Product Managers with requirements. Proficiency in Excel and Power BI is expected, with familiarity in SQL/Python a plus.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• Proficient in Excel and Power BI, including data preparation, modelling and dashboard development.
• Familiarity with SQL, Python, Databricks and/or advanced Excel is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working with large datasets and turning data into insights.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the confidence to challenge assumptions.
• Interested in learning how products are built, launched, improved and grown.

Responsibilities

• Analyse customer, product and business data to identify trends, opportunities and areas for improvement.
• Develop dashboards, reports and visualisations to track product and business performance.
• Translate business questions into data and reporting requirements.
• Present insights and recommendations to support data-driven product decisions.
• Support Product Managers in gathering and documenting product requirements.
• Work with IT and other stakeholders on data requirements, product development and delivery.
• Support product lifecycle activities, including product enhancements and post-launch analysis.
• Conduct market and competitor research to identify product opportunities.
• Develop simple scripts or analytical workflows to improve data extraction and analysis.
