Qualifications

• Minimum commitment period of 6 months full-time.
• Solid knowledge of SQL is required.
• Excellent communication skills to convey data solutions to stakeholders.
• Self-starter and comfortable to work in a highly ambiguous environment.
• Demonstrated competency with Gen AI and agentic tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude Code).

Responsibilities

• Be the owner of key business metrics and create reports and dashboards to monitor them, so that stakeholders can evaluate current strategies and decide on future strategic decisions.
• Build and maintain scalable data models and metrics layers, and use them to validate how user actions drive business performance.
• Build AI-powered data tools — agentic workflows and internal AI assistants — that scale how we deliver analytics to business teams.
• Build a strong understanding of ShopBack's data ecosystems within the internal teams and be the data evangelist who makes sure we make the best use of available data and promote a self-service analytics culture.
• Keep our data trustworthy — build robust checks and alerts that catch issues before stakeholders do.
