Job summary

Singtel Group is seeking a Data Analyst Intern (Reporting & Insights) to turn portfolio data into meaningful insights and support technology governance.

You will work with technology teams and owners to develop dashboards, validate data, and deliver monthly and ad-hoc reports.

This internship offers exposure to enterprise data practices and opportunities to automate reporting and drive data quality.

Qualifications

• Degree in data analytics, business analytics, information systems, CS or related.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret large datasets and translate findings into insights.
• Proficiency in Excel, SQL and data viz tools such as Power BI or Tableau, with experience developing dashboards and reports.
• Attention to data accuracy, quality and consistency across multiple sources.
• Understanding of KPIs, reporting and portfolio information; portfolio management experience is advantageous.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management to present complex information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards and scorecards for the portfolio.
• Track and report portfolio metrics by unit, domain, owner and technology.
• Analyse portfolio data to identify trends, gaps, risks and opportunities and provide insights.
• Define and maintain KPIs, metrics and reporting definitions.
• Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure data integrity.
• Collaborate with owners and stakeholders to resolve missing or inconsistent portfolio information.
• Produce monthly, quarterly and ad-hoc management reports and executive summaries.
• Automate recurring reports and dashboards to reduce manual effort.
• Translate complex datasets into clear visualisations, insights and management summaries.
