Job summary

NTS COMPONENTS SINGAPORE PTE LTD is seeking an experienced procurement and NPI program leader to drive end-to-end delivery for high-tech assemblies in a contract manufacturing setting.

You will mentor project teams, own NPI material costs, and lead cross-functional coordination with Engineering, Quality, SCM, and Operations to ensure timely, on-budget ramp to mass production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or program management in a contract manufacturing/high-tech environment.
• Experience managing NPI, cost improvement projects, and ramping to mass production.
• Experience in complex assemblies (mechanical/electromechanical/electrical) is highly desirable.
• Strong exposure to supplier management, cross-functional execution, and customer-facing roles.

Responsibilities

• Mentor procurement project teams and drive continuous improvement in procurement performance.
• Lead end-to-end Procurement's NPI / program delivery from concept through mass production (cost, quality, delivery).
• Own NPI material cost and ensure total project cost meets or outperforms awarded pricing.
• Drive cost optimization initiatives in collaboration with Category Management and suppliers.
• Lead cross-functional coordination (Procurement, Engineering, Quality, SCM, Operations) to ensure program alignment and execution.
• Act as primary interface for material topics (timeline, readiness, risks, escalations).
• Manage program risks, issues, and escalations; develop and execute recovery plans.
• Drive qualification and readiness activities (FAI, pilot builds, ramp readiness, supplier qualification).
• Ensure structured handover to Operations with full readiness (material availability, capacity, lead time stability).
• Establish and enforce program governance, milestones, and reporting cadence.
• Authority to prioritize program activities, drive cross-functional decisions, and elevate to senior management when required.

• Experience in complex assemblies (mechanical/electromechanical/electrical) is highly desirable
