Sonova seeks a seasoned Procurement Senior Manager to own the Accessories sub-category within the global category structure. You will lead sourcing, onboarding, and contract management, delivering value and competitive advantage while aligning with Sonova’s procurement goals.

You will interact with technical and financial stakeholders, drive cost savings, and manage supplier relationships in a fast-paced, hybrid work environment that supports growth and innovation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of procurement experience in the Directs area with knowledge of electronic devices.
• Implementation of strategic Category strategies in a global context.
• Experience owning procurement activities within a global organization.
• Ownership of sourcing processes aligned with policy, procedures and targets.
• Ability to resolve supply chain disturbances and influence vendors and stakeholders.

Procurement Senior Manager - Electromechanics

As the Procurement, Senior Manager, you will bringknowledge and operational expertise in the field of Accessories. The role will bring a modern approach to the Sonova team and will be integral in driving the Category forward, whilst supporting the procurement function to continue the drive to create value and enhance the organization’s competitive advantage.

The incumbent will own sub-category within the overarching Category structure led by the Category Leader (CL). Reporting to the CL, this role will play a lead role in deploying strategy through the sourcing, supplier onboarding and contract management phases.

The role presents an excellent opportunity within a fast-paced growth company to deliver significant value in the Accessories Category structure. The person appointed will be required to evidence previous, value-add ownership of Accessories sub-category in a global environment, with the ability to interact cross-functionally and externally in such a way that achieves real progress for the category in line with the Sonova values and business plans.

In this role, you will be in charge of:

• Be the procurement action owner for Accessories related Parts such as Prefabricated cables, Conversion kits, Transmission coils/communication equipment, Cros-Cords, Programming instruments accessories, Battery charger, Accessory devices to wireless hearing in, EDP accessories internally, Individual parts sub-category.
• Put Category strategy into practice through executing world-class sourcing in this space
• Understand the Accessories global marketplace and support the CL by providing insights, data and experiences into the procurement function, and site these in Category and sourcing plans
• Deliver the sourcing projects provided by the CL and source to target accordingly
• Put in place 3rd party supplier contracts which help to deliver Sonova’s objectives
• Bring knowledge of sustainable sourcing practices and opportunities for innovation
• Understand the sourcing demand across the sub-category and develop a contract renewals and new projects pipeline
• Engage with technical and financial stakeholders to generate procurement phase plans that are aligned to strategy and process
• Deliver on planned objectives, e.g. savings and time to source
• Operate compliantly and in accordance with Sonova processes and ways working
• Manage stakeholders, budget holders and fact holders across the sub-category
• Understand Design to Cost principles
• Understand and be able to implement negotiation and influencing techniques
• Lead on 3rd party negotiation design and deployment
• Manage supplier relationships, built on maintaining accurate and current supplier segmentation data and a clear view on supplier preferencing
• Run the sub-category effectively, forging strong relationships internally and externally
• Manage the sub-category supply base effectively, constantly seek to leverage improvements in cost, quality, innovation, and sustainability

Your background:

• 5+ years of procurement experience in the Directs area with specific knowledge of electronic devices related Products.
• Implementation of strategic Category strategies
• Worked experience of owning procurement activities in a global organization.
• Ownership of the sourcing process in line with policy, procedures and sourcing targets
• Adept at supporting the business to resolve supply chain disturbance and supplier performance issues.
• Successful commercial experience (pre and post sourcing)
• Able to collaborate with and influence external vendors and internal stakeholder groups linked to the relevant sub-category.
• Self-starter, self-motivated and ready to play a visible role in procurement.
• A value creator, adept at impacting the bottom line through tangible commercial results.
• Solutions focused, able to work with leadership and teammates to deliver required outcomes.
