Job summary

Benel Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a capable Purchasing professional to source suppliers, negotiate terms and issue POs, ensuring cost-effective, on-time supply. In Planning & Inventory, you will prepare work orders, plan material requirements and monitor stock, coordinating with Sales, Logistics and Operations to keep procurement and production running smoothly.

Candidates should have a diploma or degree in a related field, at least 2 years' experience, hands-on ERP experience, and strong Excel

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in a related field (Supply Chain, Business, Engineering).
• At least 2 years' experience in purchasing, procurement, planning or operations, preferably in manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with an ERP system.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (lookups, pivot tables).

Responsibilities

• Source suppliers and negotiate pricing, terms and contracts for cost-effective, on-time supply.
• Issue POs and process goods receiving.
• Resolve issues with supplier regarding quality, delivery or pricing.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, including POs, contracts and supplier performance reports.
• Prepare work orders for in-house production.
• Plan material requirements for production and trading based on firm orders and forecasts.
• Monitor inventory movement and prepare monthly stock reviews.
• Work with Sales, Logistics and Operations to keep procurement and production running smoothly.
