The Head Of Procurement is responsible for managing the company’s procurement activities to ensure a reliable supply of quality consumables and services at the most competitive cost. The role requires strong negotiation, supplier management, and strategic sourcing capabilities to support the company’s operational and financial objectives.
Develop and implement purchasing strategies in line with business objectives.
Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, including sourcing, vendor selection, contract negotiation, and purchase order management.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
Monitor supplier performance and address issues relating to delivery, quality, or compliance.
Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers, assess trends, and benchmark pricing.
Collaborate with internal departments to forecast demand and align procurement activities with operational needs.
Ensure adherence to company policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements in all purchasing activities.
Prepare and manage the purchasing budget and identify opportunities for cost savings.
