Job summary

A marine procurement firm in Singapore seeks a Procurement Manager to manage the full procurement cycle for offshore vessels. The ideal candidate will have 5–8 years of experience in marine procurement, strong negotiation skills, and familiarity with offshore regulations. Job description
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage full procurement cycle for marine/offshore vessels and assets (FPSO, AHTS, OSV, barge, jack-up, MOPU etc.)
  • Source and procure technical spares, consumables, marine equipment, safety gear, and engineering services
  • Coordinate with technical and operations departments to forecast and plan procurement needs
  • Issue RFQs, evaluate quotations, negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules
  • Develop and maintain supplier network for offshore and marine categories
  • Conduct supplier evaluations, audits, and performance reviews
  • Establish framework agreements, long-term supply contracts, and preferred vendor lists
  • Oversee logistics, warehousing, inventory control, and shipping arrangements (local & international)
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, classification society, maritime regulations, and HSE requirements
  • Coordinate urgent shipments and critical spares for breakdown situations
  • Drive cost optimisation initiatives and cost-saving strategies
  • Analyse procurement spend and provide budget reporting to management
  • Manage procurement KPIs and vendor performance dashboards
  • Maintain procurement records in ERP/Procurement system (e.g., AMOS, Oracle Netsuite, SAP, DANAOS)
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives for procurement processes and policies

Requirements

  • Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain, Maritime Studies, Engineering or related field
