Job summary

RecruitPedia Pte Ltd is seeking a Procurement Lead in Singapore to drive end-to-end sourcing, supplier partnerships, and category strategy aligned with business goals.

You will forecast demand, manage risk, lead negotiations, governance, and cost-reduction initiatives while championing sustainable sourcing across the supplier base with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align sourcing strategies with business objectives
• Provide market intelligence and commodity insights to support business planning, decision-making, innovation, and new product development initiatives
• Develop and execute category strategies to optimize cost, quality, value, and supply performance
• Lead supplier selection, negotiations, contract management, and supplier performance reviews while ensuring compliance with procurement policies and governance standards
• Promote responsible sourcing practices and ESG objectives across the supplier base

Job description

Key Responsibilities

(i) Stakeholder Management & Business Partnership

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align sourcing strategies, demand planning, pricing, and supply requirements with business objectives

• Provide market intelligence and commodity insights to support business planning, decision-making, innovation, and new product development initiatives

(ii) Category Sourcing, Supplier & Contract Management

• Develop and execute category strategies to optimize cost, quality, value, and supply performance

• Lead supplier selection, negotiations, contract management, and supplier performance reviews while ensuring compliance with procurement policies and governance standards

• Develop and maintain supplier partnerships to enhance supply continuity, collaboration, and communication

(iii) Supply Assurance & Risk Management

• Ensure supply continuity through effective forecasting, supplier collaboration, inventory management, and contingency planning

• Identify and mitigate supply chain, market, quality, and operational risks to support business continuity

• Conduct supplier evaluations to ensure compliance with company requirements in price, quality, service, and safety

(iv) Procurement Excellence & Governance

• Drive procurement process excellence through effective governance, controls, and systems

• Utilize data and analytics to monitor performance, identify improvement opportunities, and support informed decision-making

• Identify and champion cost reduction projects, including periodic updates for management

• Monitor market trends and negotiate favorable material pricing to support cost objectives

(v) Sustainability & ESG

• Promote responsible sourcing practices and supplier engagement to support sustainability and ESG objectives

• Drive environmental, social, and ethical sourcing initiatives across the supplier base in collaboration with key stakeholders
