Job summary

THE SUPREME HR ADVISORY PTE. LTD. is seeking a Purchasing Executive to support procurement, inventory management, and supply chain operations in Singapore.

The role focuses on purchasing activities, inventory coordination, operational reporting, and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders within the chemicals distribution sector at Harbourfront Centre. The position offers a 12-month contract with renewal possibilities and a salary of SGD 3,600–4,500 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related fields.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, logistics or supply chain operations.
• Experience in distribution, manufacturing, chemicals or B2B environments is advantageous.
• Hands-on experience using SAP MM.

Responsibilities

• Execute purchase orders for chemicals and related materials from intercompany and external suppliers.
• Monitor and follow up on purchase orders to ensure timely deliveries and supply continuity.
• Liaise with suppliers on order status, lead times, shipment schedules, and discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation within SAP.
• Review and verify freight quotations in coordination with freight forwarders.
• Support supplier performance monitoring by tracking delivery reliability and service levels.
• Assist in identifying opportunities to improve procurement efficiency and cost effectiveness.
• Support audit and compliance requirements through proper maintenance of procurement records.
• Prepare and maintain procurement, inventory, and operational KPI reports.
• Analyse purchasing trends, inventory movements, and operational data.
• Support process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
