Job summary

RECRUITPEDIA PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Procurement Assistant to join the team handling ongoing transformation projects in the marine and offshore sector. The role is based in the West, with easy access for commuting.

You will receive and review sourcing enquiries from the Sales team, source marine and engineering products, and evaluate supplier quotations to identify optimal options for timely quotations. A diploma in SCM/Procurement/Engineering plus 1+ year of experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in SCM/Procurement/Engineering.
• 1+ year of experience in sourcing, procurement, purchasing or supplier coordination.
• Knowledge of electrical/marine/industrial products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, and process product sourcing enquiries and requests from the Sales team.
• Source marine, offshore, electrical, and engineering-related products from local and overseas suppliers.
• Request, collect, and evaluate supplier quotations to identify the most suitable sourcing options.
• Compare supplier pricing, product specifications, quality, lead times, and commercial terms to support the Sales team in preparing customer quotations.

Requirements

• Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Min 1 year of experience in sourcing, procurement, purchasing, supplier coordination
• Candidates with relevant engineering product knowledge is bonus
• Experience sourcing electrical components, marine equipment, industrial products, or engineering parts will be an advantage.
