RECRUITPEDIA PTE. LTD. is seeking a Procurement Assistant to join our team for ongoing transformation projects.

The role focuses on sourcing marine, offshore and related engineering products from local and overseas suppliers while supporting the Sales team with quotations. You will review inquiries, evaluate supplier quotations, and compare pricing, specs, and terms to identify the best options. Diploma holders with 1 year of sourcing experience are preferred, especially with engineering

Qualifications

• Diploma in a relevant discipline required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in sourcing, procurement or supplier coordination.
• Engineering product knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, review, and process product sourcing enquiries and requests from the Sales team.
• Source marine, offshore, electrical, and engineering-related products from local and overseas suppliers.
• Request, collect, and evaluate supplier quotations to identify the most suitable sourcing options.
• Compare supplier pricing, product specifications, quality, lead times, and commercial terms to support the Sales team in preparing customer quotations.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Min 1 year of experience in sourcing, procurement, purchasing, supplier coordination
• Candidates with relevant engineering product knowledge is bonus
• Experience sourcing electrical components, marine equipment, industrial products, or engineering parts will be an advantage.
