Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is hiring a Contract Buyer (Procurement / Raw Materials) for a Medical Device MNC in Changi. The position is 12 months, with renewal/conversion potential. Salary ranges from SGD 4,500 to SGD 6,000 per month.

Location is Changi, working hours are Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm with occasional evening calls. The role covers purchasing of raw materials and manufacturing supplies, supplier management, and cross-functional coordination with production, logistics, and quality teams.

Qualifications

• Hands-on procurement/buying experience required.
• Experience in supplier and vendor management preferred.
• Bio-pharma/Medical Device experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing of raw materials and manufacturing supplies.
• Prepare purchase orders, quotations and procurement documentation.
• Manage suppliers, negotiate pricing and ensure timely deliveries.
• Monitor inventory levels, material shortages and outstanding orders.
• Coordinate with production, logistics and quality teams.
• Analyze purchasing data and support cost-saving initiatives.
