Job summary

Sunland (S) Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Purchasing/Procurement Executive (M&E/ACMV) in Singapore to handle sourcing, purchasing, and materials planning for our projects.

The role focuses on obtaining quotations, issuing POs, coordinating shipments, and maintaining stock levels. You will liaise with principals and suppliers, negotiate prices and delivery terms, ensure timely payments with accounts, and support management with delivery schedules and issue resolution.

Responsibilities

• Obtain quotations meeting project specs from principals and suppliers.
• Perform purchasing and materials planning to fulfil sales and project needs.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders for engines, alternators, radiators and materials needed for sales and projects.
• Monitor and review inventory stocking policy.
• Plan bulk purchasing to gain volume discounts.
• Track order status with principals and suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
• Liaise with principals and suppliers to resolve short supply and damaged goods.
• Coordinate shipments with principals, forwarders and suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing and delivery schedules with principals and suppliers.
• Prepare documents and coordinate with accounts to ensure timely payment on terms.
• Respond to internal customers for delivery schedules and discrepancies.
• Perform buying activities assigned by management.
• Any other task/project assigned by management.

Company Direct Hire | Purchasing Executive / Procurement Executive (M&E / ACMV)

Job Detail:

• M&E ducting / ACMV
• Location: DEFU INDUSTRIAL CITY
• Salary: (based on experience)
• Working hours: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm, Alternate Sat 8am-12pm

Job scope:

• Obtain necessary quotation that meets the project specification from principals and suppliers.
• Perform purchasing and materials planning to fulfil sales and project needs.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders to principals, suppliers for engines, alternators, radiators, parts and materials needed for the company’s sales and project requirement.
• Monitor / review inventory stocking policy.
• Plan and initiate bulk purchasing to principals to gain volume discount purchase
• Tracking and follow up with principals and suppliers on the order status to ensure timely delivery
• Contact and liaise with principals and suppliers to resolve short supply, damaged goods, and other ad-hoc problems.
• Shipment coordination with principals, forwarders, and suppliers
• Negotiate with principals and suppliers on the pricing and delivery schedule.
• Prepare necessary documents and co-ordinate with account department to ensure timely payment on the agreed terms.
• Respond to internal customers for delivery schedule and outcomes of discrepancy found on the received goods.
• Perform and buying activities assigned by management.
• Any other task/project assigned by management.
