Job summary

NEW MODE TECHNOLOGIES PTE LTD in Singapore seeks a Procurement Assistant to support engineers/managers in sourcing parts and evaluating quotes, and to perform goods acceptance.

The role requires a Nitec in electronic/electrical/mechatronic or mechanical engineering, plus the ability to read datasheets and drawings. Computer literacy with Word/Excel and strong attention to detail and communication are essential.

Salary is negotiable based on experience, with regular office hours and no remote work.

Qualifications

• Nitec qualification in electronic, electrical, mechatronic or mechanical engineering.
• Ability to read and interpret technical/product datasheets, safety datasheets, drawings and schematics.
• Computer literacy with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Open to Singaporeans only.

• Assist Engineer/Manager in the procurement of parts/components, i.e., from Request for Sourcing/Quote (RFS/Q), prepare Evaluation Report (ER) and perform Goods Acceptance (GA).

Requirements

• Nitec in Electronic, Electrical, Mechatronic or Mechanical Engineering
• Ability to read and interpret technical/product datasheet, safety datasheet, technical drawings and schematics
• Computer literate with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
• Open to Singaporeans only

The basic monthly salary will commensurate with the shortlisted candidate’s work experience, negotiable.

Working Hours

The working hours are as follows:

• Mondays to Thursdays: 8.30am to 6.00pm
• Fridays: 8.30am to 5.30pm
• Lunch: 1 hour
