Job summary

UES HOLDINGS PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a procurement professional to maintain records, prepare RFQs, manage purchase requisitions, and support award consents with the project team.

You will work closely with the project and procurement teams on day-to-day operations and assist project leads with budget monitoring. The role requires a Diploma in Engineering/Science/Construction Management, 2+ years of relevant experience (water/wastewater or waste-to-energy preferred), and strong English

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering, Science, Construction Management required.
• At least 2 years of experience, preferably in water and wastewater or waste-to-energy industries.
• Good knowledge and experience in procurement role including purchasing and contractual administration.
• Positive attitude and supportive atmosphere within the procurement team.
• Familiarity with mechanical works including fabrication and piping works is a plus.
• Conversant with purchasing procedures and contractual terms for EPC procurement works.
• Experience in auditing and related compliance procedures.
• Strong English communication and proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Collaborate with procurement team in day-to-day procurement operation.
• Collaborate with Project Leads in project budget monitoring.

Requirements

• Min Diploma in Engineering, Science, Construction Management
• Min 2 years of experience, preferably in water and wastewater or waste to energy industries
• Good knowledge and experience in procurement role in the past covers purchasing and associated contractual administration works.
• Positive thinking and with supportive atmosphere amongst the procurement team
• Preferably with those with good knowledge of mechanical works cover fabrication and piping works
• Conversant of purchasing exercise and familiar with associated contractual terms and conditions for Procurement Works related to EPC Works.
• Experience in auditing and its procedures and compliances.
• Good oral and written command in English and with effective communication skills with all levels and he/she shall be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including MS Word, Excel and Power Point.
