Job summary

AEM Holdings Ltd. is seeking an Engineering Sourcing Specialist in Singapore to support sourcing activities for Engineering and HVM projects. You will evaluate suppliers, interpret technical specs, mitigate risks, and drive cost reduction while ensuring quality and regulatory compliance.

The role requires 2–3 years of engineering sourcing experience and a degree in Engineering. You will interact with suppliers and internal teams to ensure project continuity and efficiency in digital procurement

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required.
• 2–3 years of engineering sourcing experience.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications, drawings and engineering documentation.
• Strong mechanical and electrical engineering knowledge.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills to engage suppliers and stakeholders.
• Collaborative team player with accountability in project delivery.
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset for sourcing challenges.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support sourcing activities for Engineering and HVM projects involving mechanical and electrical components to meet project requirements.
• Interpret technical specifications, drawings, and engineering documentation to inform sourcing decisions.
• Evaluate suppliers from technical and commercial perspectives to inform business awards.
• Identify and mitigate technical and supply risks, focusing on critical or long-lead items to ensure project continuity.
• Drive continuous cost reduction initiatives through supplier consolidation, alternate sourcing, and value engineering.
• Ensure all sourcing activities comply with internal policies, quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Contribute to process improvements in sourcing workflows, supplier onboarding, and digital procurement tools to enhance efficiency.
