Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering; mechanical or electrical discipline preferred.
• 2+ years in Engineering Sourcing or Procurement.
• Ability to interpret technical specs and drawings accurately.
• Solid knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering principles.
• Strong negotiation, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Stakeholder and supplier management experience.
• Collaborative team player with accountability and ownership.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Support sourcing activities for Engineering and HVM projects with mechanical and electrical components.
• Review technical specs, drawings and project requirements to support sourcing decisions.
• Evaluate suppliers on technical and commercial criteria before awarding business.
• Identify and mitigate technical, supply and procurement risks for long-lead items.
• Drive cost reductions via supplier consolidation, alternative sourcing and VE.
• Ensure sourcing complies with internal policies, quality standards and regulations.
• Assist improvements in sourcing processes, supplier onboarding and digital tools.

Working Hours: 5-day work week, 8:30AM-5:30PM

Salary Package: AWS + Performance Bonus

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting sourcing activities for Engineering and High-Volume Manufacturing (HVM) projects involving mechanical and electrical components.
• Reviewing and interpreting technical specifications, engineering drawings, and project requirements to support accurate sourcing decisions.
• Evaluating suppliers based on both technical capabilities and commercial considerations before awarding business.
• Identifying and mitigating technical, supply, and procurement risks , especially for critical or long-lead components.
• Driving cost reduction initiatives through supplier consolidation, alternative sourcing, value engineering, and other strategies.
• Ensuring sourcing activities comply with internal policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Supporting improvements in sourcing processes, supplier onboarding, and digital procurement tools.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering , preferably Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline.
• 2+ years of Engineering Sourcing / Procurement experience is preferred.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications, engineering drawings, and technical documentation.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering principles.
• Strong negotiation, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good stakeholder and supplier management skills.
