PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is assisting a leader in the semiconductor industry to hire a Process Technician for a 12-month contract based at the NUS Engineering School in Singapore.
The role emphasizes supporting process development experiments (ALD, CVD, thermal processing) and hands-on laboratory work, including substrate preparation and equipment maintenance. Candidates should hold a relevant diploma and have some lab experience with thin-film processes.

Contract: 12 Months
Location: NUS Engineering School
Support process development experiments involving ALD, CVD, thermal processing, and related thin-film deposition techniques.
Perform material characterization using SEM, EDX, Raman, PL, and Ellipsometry.
Prepare substrates, chemicals, precursors, and consumables for experiments.
Assist in operating and maintaining process tools and laboratory equipment.
Document experimental results, run logs, SOPs, and technical reports.
Ensure compliance with EHS requirements, including safe chemical and gas handling.
Support process optimization and continuous improvement initiatives for 2D materials development.
Diploma in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering, Chemistry, or a related discipline.
Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience in thin-film deposition, semiconductor processing, or materials research is preferred.
Experience with ALD, CVD, or thermal processing is advantageous.
Familiarity with characterization techniques such as SEM, EDX, Raman, PL, and Ellipsometry is a plus.
Exposure to 2D materials (e.g., MoS₂, WS₂, WSe₂, or other TMDs) is desirable.
Basic understanding of cleanroom practices, chemical safety, gas handling, and laboratory protocols.
Strong attention to detail, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
