Job summary

GMP Technologies (S) Pte Ltd is seeking a diligent Plant Operator to monitor and control production activities, perform minor maintenance, and ensure compliant handling of materials. You will work with Production, Materials, and Technical teams to resolve issues and support smooth operations.

Candidates with a Diploma/NITEC in Chemical Process Technology and 2–5 years of plant experience are preferred. A 12-hour rotating shift and strong teamwork are required; familiarity with MS Office is a

Qualifications

Diploma or NITEC in Chemical Process Technology or related discipline.
Minimum 2–5 years of operational experience in a plant environment.
Conversant in MS Office; knowledge of Distributed Control System (DCS) is an advantage.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Able to work well in a team.
Willing to work on 12-hour rotating shifts.
Candidates with no prior experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control plant production activities.
Undertake minor maintenance and prepare process equipment for major maintenance.
Complete in-process quality control lab tests.
Ensure all products are manufactured, handled, stored, packaged and delivered per documented procedures.
Comply with Environmental, Health, Safety and Quality (EHSQ) guidelines.
Work with Production, Materials, and Technical teams to resolve problems.
Suggest ways to reduce production costs, eliminate bottlenecks, and improve quality and capacity.
