RECRUITPEDIA PTE. LTD. is seeking a Manufacturing Technician (Chemical) to support ongoing transformation projects in a West Singapore facility. The role involves operating chemical processes, adhering to safety standards, and enabling reliable plant operations.

Candidates should have NITEC or higher with related diploma credentials and may possess DCS/PLC familiarity, plus forklift licensing. Independent yet collaborative work style is valued in this manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

NITEC/Higher NITEC or Diploma in Chemical Process Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
Experience in a chemical plant or manufacturing environment preferred.
Knowledge of DCS and/or PLC advantageous.
Forklift driving licence advantageous.
Willingness to work in a manufacturing environment and follow safety procedures.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.

Responsibilities

Operate and perform stages of chemical manufacturing processes per work instructions and safety procedures.
Carry out forklift and stacker operations to support production and material handling activities.
Assist Production Supervisor in troubleshooting process and product quality issues.
Perform batch processing in a production environment that includes automated and manual operations.
Participate in training and support the Emergency Response Team as required per safety requirements.
Maintain compliance with quality, safety, health, and environmental policies.
