Job summary

8859 Evonik Methionine SEA Pte. Ltd._8859 in Singapore is seeking a chemical process operator to join our world-class production team on Jurong Island. You will operate equipment in production systems, prepare solutions, monitor instruments and assist with loading and unloading tasks.

We offer on-the-job training, opportunities for professional development, and a rotating 12-hour shift pattern. Candidates should have a Diploma/NITEC in related field and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or NITEC in a chemical processing field is required.
• Good interpersonal and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Operates equipment in the production systems, prepares solutions, monitors instruments, and assists with loading/unloading.
• Performs cleaning, maintenance and minor repairs in production systems.
• Supports emergency response activities and maintenance teams.

Responsibilities

• Operates equipment in the production systems, prepares solutions, monitors certain measuring instruments and equipment, and assists in unloading and loading operations.
• Carries out cleaning, maintenance, and minor repair work in the production systems.
• Participates and responds to the emergency response team Assist maintenance team in plant repair

Requirements

• Diploma in Chemical Process Engineering or NITEC in Chemical Process Technology
• Operating experience in Chemical / Petrochemical industry is advantageous
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Willing to work in Jurong Island and perform 12 hours rotating shift
