Job summary

Evonik (SEA) Pte Ltd on Jurong Island is seeking a hands-on operator to maintain production processes. You will operate equipment, prepare solutions, monitor instruments, and assist in loading/unloading tasks.

• Operating experience in Chemical/Petrochemical industry is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willing to work on Jurong Island and perform 12-hour rotating shifts with company transport provided.

Job description

This position is required to perform operational tasks and meet safety requirements according to Evonik site safety guidelines. He/She will be engaged in field activities to meet safety, environmental and production goals.

Responsibilities

• Operates equipment in the production systems, prepares solutions, monitors certain measuring instruments and equipment, and assists in unloading and loading operations.

• Carries out cleaning, maintenance, and minor repair work in the production systems.

• Participates and responds to the emergency response team

• Assist maintenance team in plant repair
  

Requirements

• Diploma in Chemical Process Engineering or NITEC in Chemical Process Technology

• Operating experience in Chemical / Petrochemical industry is advantageous

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Willing to work in Jurong Island and perform 12 hours rotating shift (Company transport provided)
