Job summary

Binnies Singapore Pte Ltd, located in Singapore, seeks an experienced senior process design engineer to lead the detailed design of water and wastewater treatment projects, covering screening, physical-chemical and biological treatment, desalination, and related ancillaries.

You will prepare P&IDs, equipment specifications, and testing/commissioning plans, coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams, and lead client and vendor meetings to ensure compliant, robust solutions for industrial water

Qualifications

• Candidate shall have minimum of 10 years’ experience in the process design of water / wastewater treatment (industrial).

Responsibilities

• Detailed design of process systems for water and wastewater treatment plants, including screening equipment, physical-chemical treatment plants, biological treatment plants, blower equipment, odour control plants, disinfection plants, sludge treatment plants, desalination process, etc.
• Detailed design of ancillary systems including chemical feed systems, mechanical ventilation systems, and drainage systems.
• Preparation of Process Flow Diagrams and P&IDs.
• General Arrangement and equipment layout drawings.
• Preparation of process equipment specifications.
• Review and evaluation of vendor submissions.
• Coordination with other disciplines e.g. civil, structural, electrical, mechanical, building services, instrumentation & control designers and digital water specialists.
• Able to lead meetings, HAZOP, discussions with clients, contractors and vendors.
• Provide engineering support for bids & proposals.
• Prepare testing and commissioning plans
• Process Testing & Commissioning
• Keeping abreast with latest development in water treatment technology and suitably applies in the design
