Job summary

TRUST RECRUIT PTE. LTD. on Jurong Island seeks an EHS Engineer to support the ESH Section Manager in driving workplace safety excellence. You will implement safety programs, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a culture of safety across operations.

The role involves vendor coordination, data analysis, training delivery, and contractor management, with a focus on process safety improvements and emergency preparedness.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering / Chemistry or equivalent is required.
• At least 1 year of relevant working experience or knowledge in Process Safety Management (PSM) subjects.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate safety communications with vendors and suppliers, verify product specs meet needs, and schedule services.
• Collect and analyze ESH data from process owners to drive improvements.
• Promote in-house safety culture through inspections, training, risk assessments, and staff inductions.
• Assist in compliance with legal requirements, audits, and regulatory updates for SHMS.
• Oversee contractor safety inductions, PTW, 5S, and coordination of laydown areas.
• Analyze process flows to identify pain points and propose safety-driven solutions.
• Support emergency response planning and drills, liaise with authorities and update ERP documents.
