Job summary

RECRUIT EXPRESS PTE LTD in Singapore seeks an EHS professional to support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our Environmental, Health & Safety management system. This role ensures compliance with local safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements while driving safety awareness through training.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related discipline and a MOM-recognised WSH Level C certification.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related discipline (and above).
• Valid MOM-recognised WSH Level C certification.
• Experience in Environmental, Health & Safety functions will be an advantage.
• Familiarity with Singapore workplace safety and environmental regulations is preferred.
• Good communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.
• Committed to maintaining high standards of workplace safety, compliance, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation, maintenance and continuous improvement of the EHS management system.
• Ensure compliance with Singapore workplace safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Plan and conduct EHS training programmes to strengthen workplace safety awareness.
• Coordinate workplace safety, health, environmental, and fire safety committee activities.
• Carry out workplace inspections, audits, risk assessments, and recommend improvements.
• Assist in incident investigations and support preventive and corrective actions.
• Maintain EHS documentation, legal registers, reports, and regulatory records.
• Monitor changes in legislation and industry best practices to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to promote a proactive safety culture.
• Support other EHS initiatives and projects as required.
