We are seeking an experienced Project / Process Engineer to support the execution of a major pharmaceutical warehouse project. This role is ideal for someone with strong project coordination experience within GMP-regulated environments and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders while driving project deliverables independently.
You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure successful project execution from design through commissioning and qualification.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate project activities across process, mechanical, electrical, and cleanroom disciplines.
- Serve as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders, consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Review and support the design and implementation of warehouse systems, including sampling booths.
- Manage technical discussions, vendor coordination, and follow-ups, particularly with Chinese-speaking suppliers.
- Plan and support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), commissioning, and qualification (IQ/OQ) activities.
- Prepare, review, and execute project documentation, including qualification protocols and technical reports.
- Ensure compliance with GMP standards and applicable regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify and mitigate project risks while resolving technical and coordination challenges.
- Maintain accurate project records, meeting minutes, action trackers, and progress reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, or GMP-regulated environments.
- Proven experience managing cross-functional engineering projects within construction or facility settings.
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical warehouse operations, cleanroom systems, or material handling processes.
- Experience with sampling booth design, containment systems, or powder handling is highly advantageous.
- Strong understanding of commissioning and qualification activities, including IQ/OQ; validation experience is a plus.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and drive project milestones with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese (written and spoken) is required to liaise with Chinese-speaking vendors and technical partners.
