NUSANTARA PRIME CONSULTING PTE. LTD. is seeking a process engineer in Singapore to assist in the design and optimization of chemical and biological processes for biologics. The role requires 1-2 years of relevant pharmaceutical experience, although fresh graduates with internship experience are welcome. This position offers a 12-month contract with potential for extension based on performance evaluations.
Key responsibilities include monitoring modifications, troubleshooting existing processes, and providing operational support to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.
Assist in the design, operation, control and optimization of chemical/biological process systems used in the manufacture of biologics products.
Be part of the commissioning and qualification effort of the process equipment and associated systems.
Assist in design, install and commission new production units, monitor modifications and upgrades and troubleshoot existing processes.
Participate in improvement efforts leading to higher process capability and production volume while maintaining and improving quality standards.
In a cGMP environment, lead modifications and changes to processes and equipment, troubleshoot deviation investigations, identify and complete corrective and preventative actions.
Assist Senior Engineer in proposal and evaluation of modifications to equipment, processes and operations to improve safety, increase efficiency and enhance company goals.
Maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving production rates, efficiencies, yields, costs and changeovers.
Actively engage in developing specifications for process equipment and assist in FAT/SAT of related equipment as part of new build-outs.
Participate and lead, when required, in all investigations (contaminations, deviations and discrepancies) relating to the manufacturing process.
Provide operational support for the successful and uninterrupted operation of manufacturing.
Other duties as assigned by manager.
12 months contract. Extension or conversion subject to performance evaluation.
Diploma/Degree in Science, Mechanical/Chemical Engineering or a relevant discipline. At least 1-2 years related pharmaceutical experience is preferred. Fresh graduates or with pharmaceutical internship experience are also welcome to apply.
