Job summary

yamari singapore pte. ltd. seeks a certified Project Management Manager (PMP) to lead end-to-end engineering initiatives at our manufacturing facility.

You will bridge corporate governance with factory-floor realities, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery without disrupting operations. Required: 6+ years in process-plant project management, PMP/PRINCE2, and strong leadership with deep regulatory knowledge for Singapore.

Qualifications

• MUST HAVE: Professional certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2, or equivalent qualification.
• 6+ years of project management experience in process plant, chemical, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, or heavy manufacturing environments.
• Experience delivering capital projects within Singapore regulatory framework (MOM, SCDF, NEA, BCA).

Responsibilities

• Singapore Regulatory Compliance: Navigate and secure statutory clearances from local boards (e.g., NEA for pollution/hazardous substances, MOM for workplace safety/pressure vessels, SCDF for fire safety/PCD licenses, and PUB for water/trade effluent).
• Change Management and Lean Champion: Execute Change Management Programs; identify and execute LEAN initiatives to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs; drive culture of change.
• Organizational Project Management and Execution: Identify organizational-wide improvements and opportunities; perform feasibility studies; lead transformation focusing on automation, QoL, and digitalization with cost-effective approaches.
• Driver of Excellence: Lead organizational breakthroughs to support revenue growth; monitor and improve company-wide initiatives to meet KPIs.
• Budget, Procurement & Scope Control: Manage budgets, track cash flows, evaluate bids, control scope creep, and negotiate contracts with local and international vendors; plan improvements and automation.

About the role We are seeking a certified, hands-on Project Management Manager (PMP) to lead the end-to-end execution of engineering initiatives within our manufacturing facility.

In this role, you will bridge the gap between structured corporate project governance and the physical realities of the factory floor. You will be responsible for ensuring that production line modifications, equipment installations, and facility upgrades are delivered safely, on time, within scope, and on budget, without compromising ongoing plant operations.

Key responsibilities

• Singapore Regulatory Compliance:Navigate and secure necessary statutory clearances from local boards (e.g.,NEAfor pollution/hazardous substances,MOMfor workplace safety/pressure vessels,SCDFfor fire safety/PCD licenses, andPUBfor water/trade effluent).

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering （or equivalent technical discipline）.




2. Minimum of 6+ years of project management experience specifically within a process plant, chemical, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, or heavy manufacturing environment.




3. MUST HAVE: Professional certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional）,PRINCE2, or equivalent qualification




4. Experience managing complex engineering projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities such as proven track record of successfully delivering capital projects within the Singapore regulatory framework (MOM, SCDF, NEA, BCA).




5. Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices




6. Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously




7. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams




8. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail




9. Demonstrated leadership capability and the ability to motivate and guide team members




10. Experience in budget management, cost control, and financial reporting is highly desirable




11. Knowledge of industry-specific standards and regulations applicable to engineering projects would be advantageous
