Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a qualified Welder for site installation and fabrication teams focused on stainless and carbon steel piping systems and structural frameworks in process and pharmaceutical environments.

The role requires hands‑on welding, gas purging, equipment setup, and rigorous weld inspection to meet NDT acceptance criteria, with strict adherence to PTW and GMP housekeeping requirements on site.

Qualifications

WPQ/6G certification for GTAW TIG welding on SS piping and CS piping.
SMAW welding qualification for structural steel components.
Trade qualifications (NITEC/CoreTrade/SEC or equivalent) recognized.
Experience welding process piping, high‑pressure lines, or utilities.
Knowledge of WSH standards and safe plant practices.

Responsibilities

Perform GTAW/TIG welding on SS304/SS316L and CS process pipes in multiple positions.
Carry out SMAW welding on structural steel supports, racks, and skids.
Manage purge gas/backing gas setups to avoid oxidation and contamination.
Set up and maintain welding machines, torches, gas hoses and consumables.
Inspect welds, deburr joints, and ensure QA/NDT compliance.
Follow PTW, hot-work, safety and GMP housekeeping protocols.
