IFF is seeking a Process Engineer to design, optimize, and scale manufacturing processes for current and new products at our Singapore site. You will develop PFDs, P&IDs, material balances, and specifications while leading efficiency, yield, and cost improvements across the plant.
You will drive data-driven improvements, analyze production data, troubleshoot issues, and implement best engineering practices with EHSS compliance.

Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for new and existing products, including process flow diagrams (PFDs), P&IDs, material balances, and process specifications.
Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, yield, quality, capacity utilization, operational efficiency, and cost performance across the plant.
Analyze process and production data to identify trends, troubleshoot operational issues, uncover improvement opportunities, and recommend data-driven solutions with measurable results.
Drive operational excellence projects through process optimization, workflow improvements, time and motion studies, and implementation of best engineering practices.
Ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, Safety, and Sustainability (EHSS) standards by conducting risk assessments, HAZOP studies, and implementing safe operating processes.
Manage and support capital investment (CAPEX) projects, including planning, engineering design, equipment selection, commissioning, start-up, and performance validation.
Provide technical expertise for process scale-up and manufacturing transfers, supporting the transition from pilot-scale development to full-scale commercial production.
Collaborate closely with Operations, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, R&D, and external manufacturing partners to achieve seamless process integration, project execution, and continuous improvement objectives.
Evaluate and implement new technologies, equipment, and industry best practices to improve plant reliability, sustainability, process capability, and long-term operational performance.
Bachelor's Degree in Chemical, Process, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of experience in process engineering, manufacturing, or continuous improvement within a production environment.
Strong knowledge of process optimization, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and operational excellence methodologies.
Experience in data-driven process improvement projects, including production efficiency, quality enhancement, cost reduction, and CAPEX implementation.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across Operations, Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, and Engineering teams while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
Familiar with process operation and safety practices in chemical manufacturing plant environment.
Good team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
