Job summary

IFF in Singapore is seeking an entry-level manufacturing technician to support production operations onsite at Chin Bee. You will assist with cleaning, material handling, tank charging, and blending under supervision, while operating HMI systems and packing tasks.

Ability to work in a team, follow SOPs, and handle up to 25 kg is required. Basic GMP knowledge and Excel proficiency are expected, with SAP experience considered a bonus.

Qualifications

• Secondary/ITE or Diploma in Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• Basic GMP manufacturing understanding and instrumentation knowledge advantageous.
• Proficient with Excel/Word/PowerPoint; SAP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support production operations including basic equipment cleaning and material handling.
• Assist with tank charging, blending, and in-process checks under supervision.
• Operate HMI systems and production equipment after training.
• Perform packing tasks and move materials using PIVs with training/licensing provided.
• Follow SOPs to ensure safety, efficiency, and product quality.
• Maintain workplace cleanliness and assist with basic equipment maintenance (6S & AM).
• Contribute to improvement activities and complete tasks assigned by supervisors.

Where You'll Make a Difference

• Support production operations, including basic equipment cleaning and material handling.

What Makes You the Right Fit

• Secondary / ITE / Diploma in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Basic understanding of GMP manufacturing processes and common process instrumentation (advantageous).
• Basic computer proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with bonus points for SAP experience.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team, with basic English communication skills.
• Physically able and willing to handle loads of up to 25kg independently.
