Job summary

Brunel International S.E.A. Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Process Engineer to support process engineering and project execution for industrial plant upgrades. You will prepare and review PFDs, P&IDs, data sheets and instrument data sheets, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.

The role requires understanding of process safety, plant operations and site execution. You will participate in HAZOPs, EMOC procedures and support handover activities with proper documentation and compliance to standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3+ years of relevant process engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of chemical/process engineering fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with PFD and P&ID development/review.
• Good knowledge of process calculations and line sizing.
• Experience with process data sheets and technical documentation.
• Understanding of control philosophy development.
• Familiarity with HAZOP, risk assessment and process safety practices.
• Experience with EMOC / Management of Change procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Exposure to plant commissioning, PSSR, MC Walkdowns and system handover.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review PFDs, P&IDs, data sheets and instrument data sheets.
• Develop and review control philosophies and line sizing calculations.
• Review vendor drawings, specifications and sizing sheets.
• Support process design and activities across project execution.
• Participate in HAZOP, risk assessments and process safety reviews.
• Coordinate with Operations, Instrumentation, Piping, Mechanical and Commissioning teams.
• Provide engineering support during site construction, installation and commissioning.
• Support PSSR and MC Walkdowns, handover documentation.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and engineering standards.
• Assist with troubleshooting process engineering issues during projects.
