Job summary

Manpower Staffing Services (Singapore) Pte Ltd represents a global engineering client seeking an experienced Process Engineer to lead and review a team in process design for advanced manufacturing and high-tech facilities in Singapore.

You will define design requirements, prepare PFDs and P&IDs, support tenders and vendor evaluations, and mentor junior engineers while driving continuous improvement across project execution from design through commissioning.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering or related discipline.
• 6–8 years of experience in process engineering, design or project execution.
• Experience in DI/UPW, wastewater, chemical or industrial gas systems.
• Knowledge of engineering codes, standards and industry best practices.
• Proficient in engineering design and documentation tools.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and leadership skills.
• Able to work in multidisciplinary, fast-paced project environments.
• Experience managing projects from design through commissioning is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and review the work of Process Engineers and Process Supervisors.
• Define process system design requirements and manage client technical discussions.
• Develop and review engineering deliverables including PFDs, P&IDs, system layouts, and equipment datasheets.
• Support tendering activities, technical evaluations, and vendor selection.
• Perform technical reviews of vendor documentation and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Participate in risk assessments, process hazard studies, and engineering reviews.
• Prepare project budgets, cost estimates, and resource planning.
• Coordinate with clients, project teams, contractors, consultants, and vendors throughout project execution.
• Mentor junior engineers and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support inspection, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
