Job summary

Sanmina-SCI Systems Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a PCB process engineer specializing in drilling operations such as Mech Drill, Laser and Plasma. You will regularly update process documents (WI, CP, FMEA, SPC, checklists) and train operators on procedures, process controls, quality improvements and safety.

The role requires a degree or diploma in Chemical Process or Chemistry, about 1 year of manufacturing process experience, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google productivity tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address internal/external quality issues.
• Support NPI to establish and optimize new process capabilities.
• Support Lean-Six Sigma initiatives and NPI reviews.
• Make decisions for action plans when deviations occur in operations.

About the role

Work in PCB process engineering with focus areas on Drilling operations such as Mech Drill, Laser, Plasma, etc. The role involves regular update of processes documents such as WI, CP, FMEA, SPC, and Checklist, and conducting training to operation about procedures, process controls, quality improvements, and safety requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Review, analyze and improve the process yield
• Optimize process variations and capability gaps on regular basis
• Continuously work on process and relevant materials' optimization in order to meet the target quality, capability and efficiency requirement
• Collaborate with cross functional team and propose solutions on quality issues raised internally or externally
• Support NPI to establish and optimize newly required process capability
• Support other tasks relevant to the team (Lean-Six Sigma initiative, NPI review etc.)
• Make decisions in case of action plan required for deviation in implementing operation control and infrastructure required in work area

About you

• Degree or Diploma in Chemical Process, Chemistry or relevant field
• Minimum 1 year working experience in manufacturing process
• Good in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word, and Google PowerPoint, Excel
• Good in communication skill and report writing
• Good listening skill and willingness to learn
