Job summary

Cyrus Technology in Singapore is seeking an experienced NPI Project Manager to strategise, organise, govern, and lead new product introductions within agreed timeframes. You will coordinate with customers and internal teams to ensure design for manufacturing, quality, and mass production readiness.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a proactive approach to documenting changes and keeping management informed.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in mechanical engineering/precision engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with plastic injection and injection tool fabrication or mechanical product design preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office suite.
• Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Lead and inspire project teams to meet deliverables.
• Business minded, meticulous and cost sensitive.

Responsibilities

• To strategise, organise, govern, and manage New Product Introduction (NPI) projects within a predetermined timeframe.
• To manage and deliver NPI projects per customers' specifications while mitigating risks for mass manufacturing.
• To engage with customers on product specs, schedules, quality and mass manufacturing approvals.
• Collaborate with tool designers and engineering on DFM and manage program documentation and changes.
• Update management on status of ongoing programs.

Job description

• To strategise, organise, govern, and manage New Product Introduction (NPI) projects within a predetermined timeframe that is committed to customers.
• To manage and deliver New Product Introduction (NPI) projects in accordance to customers' specifications and requirements while managing and mitigating projects' risks driving toward a seamless transition to mass manufacturing.
• To engage and work with customers on product specifications, requirements, schedules, quality and approval for mass manufacturing.
• To collaborate internally with tool designer and engineering team on design for manufacturing (DFM) and proactively manage program documentations, technical and engineering changes.
• To update the status of on-going programs to the management.

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in mechanical engineering/precision engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledge with practical experience in the field of plastic injection and injection tool fabrication, or mechanical product design is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of programs.
• Good verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• Strong leadership to lead, guide and inspire the project team to produce quality work and stay committed to all deliverables.
• Business oriented, meticulous, and cost sensitive.
