Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks an experienced Process Engineer to operate Pilot Plant processes and achieve target outputs while ensuring GMP, readiness, and food safety compliance.

You will collaborate with Engineering to maintain equipment, participate in qualification of new lines, and drive data collection for proactive planning. Degree in relevant field, 3–5 years in process/manufacturing in F&B preferred.

Qualifications

• Min. Degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or related discipline.
• Min. 3–5 years of experience in process engineering or manufacturing operations, preferably within the food and beverage industry.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing systems, process optimization techniques and lean methodologies.
• Familiarity with food safety standards such as HACCP, ISO 22000 and relevant regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate Pilot Plant processes to achieve target outputs (prototype trial, commercial run).
• Ensure manpower/equipment/material readiness, site GMP, operation SOP adherence, food safety compliance.
• Participate design, installation and operation qualification of new or modified equipment and process lines.
• Work with Engineering team to maintain equipment breakdown & preventive maintenance, annual PE inspection, calibration program.
• Review Pilot Plant workplace safety and health risk assessment and sustain rightful safety culture.
• Participate production commissioning project of other business units.
• Manage packaging material inventory and staging area housekeeping.
• Establish / review Pilot Plant SOP and maintain documentation.
• Establish data collection system to ensure forward planning and minimum disruption to pilot plant trial.
• Undertake other assignments and projects as assigned by superior.
