Job summary

KBR is seeking a Process Engineer to contribute to Oil & Gas and LNG projects in Singapore. You will perform process design, write calculations, and develop PFDs, UFDs and P&IDs while ensuring compliance with codes and safety requirements.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, review and maintain equipment datasheets, and apply Aspen HYSYS/Aspen Plus to deliver robust engineering deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Experience as a Process Engineer in Oil & Gas and LNG projects.
• Familiarity with process simulations and heat/mass balance calculations.
• Experience preparing PFDs, UFDs and P&IDs.

Process Engineer

Job Responsibilities

Perform process engineering design and calculations for Oil & Gas and LNG projects. Develop and review Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Utility Flow Diagrams (UFDs). Conduct process simulations and prepare heat and material balance calculations. Develop, review, and maintain Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs). Prepare process equipment datasheets and instrument datasheets. Ensure engineering deliverables comply with applicable codes, standards, project specifications, and safety requirements. Support technical reviews and collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams throughout project execution.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related engineering discipline. Relevant experience as a Process Engineer in Oil & Gas and/or LNG projects. Experience in process system design, process simulations, and heat and material balance calculations. Hands-on experience preparing and reviewing PFDs, UFDs, and P&IDs. Familiarity with international engineering codes, standards, and industry best practices. Experience preparing process equipment and instrumentation datasheets. Proficiency in process engineering software such as Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, or equivalent. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and within multidisciplinary project teams.
