Qualifications

• Experience with oxidation or biological treatment processes is advantageous.

Job description

We are seeking a Process Engineer to oversee the operation and optimisation of industrial and hazardous wastewater treatment systems. The role involves evaluating waste streams, troubleshooting process issues and improving treatment efficiency while ensuring compliance with discharge standards and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound sales calls to assigned and prospective customers to achieve sales and customer acquisition targets.
• Identify and profile target accounts to develop new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers and industry contacts.
• Act as the main point of contact between customers, sales channels and internal teams.
• Understand customer requirements, resolve issues and recommend suitable product solutions, including alternative brands for end-of-life (EOL) parts.
• Negotiate contract terms with customers and coordinate with relevant stakeholders.
• Gather customer and competitor insights to support sales activities and account development.
• Conduct customer visits locally and overseas when required.

Requirements

• Minimum Degree in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Applied Chemistry, Biotechnology or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial or hazardous wastewater treatment.
• Hands-on operational experience in advanced oxidation or biological treatment systems would be advantageous.
