Job summary

BW Water seeks a Process Engineer to support the design and development of semiconductor wastewater treatment plant projects.

You will work with the engineering team and Project Process Lead to deliver reliable, cost-effective water treatment solutions that meet technical and client requirements. Fresh graduates are welcome, with opportunities to grow in a challenging, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Chemical, Environmental, or similar)
• Minimum of three (3) years work experience as Process Engineer in Water and Wastewater Treatment Industry or related field
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
• Effective People and Stakeholder Management skills
• Effective technical writing and reporting skills
• Expertise on Semiconductor WWTP Design, and Testing and Commissioning is a plus

Responsibilities

• Support process engineering design development for Water, Wastewater, and Industrial/Ultrapure Water treatment operations, including equipment selection and process calculations.
• Prepare equipment lists, valve lists, instrument lists, datasheets and other project documents as requested.
• Assist Project Process Lead and project team during project execution to ensure timely and compliant delivery.
• Provide cost-effective solutions while ensuring client requirements are met.
• Collaborate with multi-discipline teams to develop P&ID and PFD for water and wastewater systems.
• Follow QMS directives and drive improvements where relevant.
• Ensure deliverables stay within scope, schedule, and budget, and communicate progress with stakeholders.
• Travel as needed for project sites and client meetings.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Process Engineer to support the design and development of semiconductor wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) projects. The successful candidate will work closely with the engineering team and Project Process Lead to deliver reliable, cost-effective, and technically compliant water and wastewater treatment solutions.

• Minimum of three (3) years work experience as Process Engineer in Water and Wastewater Treatment Industry or in any related field.

• Expertise on Semiconductor WWTP Design, and Testing and Commissioning are added advantage.

Job Responsibilities

• Process engineering design development support for Water, Wastewater, and Industrial/Ultrapure Water treatment unit operations and technologies such as Chemical Pre-treatment (i.e. coagulation, flocculation), Clarifiers, Granular Filtration, Disinfection, UF, SWRO, BWRO, Ion Exchange (i.e. Softening, Demin), CAS, SBR, MBR, MBBR, Chemical Dosing Systems, Instrument/Plant Air Systems, etc.) which includes but not limited to process calculations, technical specifications, pipe sizing, equipment selection.
• Generate project documents i.e. Equipment List, Valve List, Instrument List, Datasheets and other documents requested by Project Process Lead.
• Support Project Process Lead in other tasks during Project Execution Phase.
• Provide cost effective solutions while ensuring technical compliance with client requirements.
• Ensure robust and efficient system design.
• Work together with multi-discipline engineering team to develop P&ID and PFD for water and wastewater treatment systems.
• To follow all Group quality directives and input and suggest improvements where relevant.
• To follow the company’s policy to ensure as much project scope as possible is kept within the Group.
• Ensure all the work task is following the requirement in the QMS system.
• Ensure all deliverables are met within the agreed timeline and costs.
• Maintain effective communication with all internal and external relevant disciplines.
• Attend all relevant project meetings.
• Perform any other duties required by the Project Process Lead from time to time.
• Able to travel when needed.
