Job summary

Peoplebank Hong Kong Limited seeks a Process Development Director to lead the development of new process recipes for dry-etch equipment. You will act as the technical expert, align technology roadmap with business goals, and work closely with Process and R&D teams to optimize recipe architecture and system specs.

You will oversee a multi-disciplinary team, collaborate with customers to tailor process solutions, and ensure best practices and regulatory compliance in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Applied Science, or Physics.
• 10+ years of experience in process development for front-end semiconductor equipment.
• In-depth knowledge of dry-etch processes and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the technology roadmap for dry-etch equipment and develop new process recipes.
• Oversee the Process and R&D Engineering team across multiple disciplines.
• Serve as the technical SME and collaborate with customers on process recipes.
• Advise customers on process applications and feasibility while maintaining relationships.
• Invite customers and conduct lab demonstrations of equipment capabilities.
• Ensure day-to-day operations meet industry best practices and regulatory requirements.

Process Development Director –Dry Etching
My client is a well-known semiconductor equipment MNC that specializes in dry-etch equipment, and we are currently looking to hire a Process Development Director.

In this role, you will be in-charge of the development of new process recipes for their dry-etch equipment. This individual will be responsible for being the technical expert for the dry etch equipment, and help the team to establish a technology roadmap and strategy and making sure it aligns with the business and customer objectives. As such, you will be working very closely with the Process and R&D team to optimize the process design and recipe architecture and system specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the overall technology roadmap for the dry-etch equipment and develop new process recipes as well as improving existing ones.
• Oversee the Process and R&D Engineering team across multiple disciplines and ensure that team members are working closely together.
• Serve as the technical subject matter expert, and collaborate with customers to develop a process recipe that best suits their business needs.
• Advice customers on the process applications and technical feasibility for product portfolio while maintaining good relationships.
• Invite customers and conduct lab demonstrations to show the equipment capabilities.
• Ensure that all industry best practices and regulatory requirements are met in day-to-day operations.
