Job summary

Integrity Partners Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks a hands-on Process Chemist to join its technical team.

You will design and run experiments supporting commercial chemical and biocatalytic manufacturing campaigns, troubleshoot issues, and drive process robustness. The role focuses on synthetic organic chemistry, biocatalysis, and batch process scale-up, serving as the primary liaison for tech transfers between HQ and local site production.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Chemical Engineering required.
• Experience in organic synthesis or process chemistry preferred.
• Hands-on lab/manufacturing environment; willing to support off-hours during active campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Process Scale-Up & Optimisation: design lab experiments to develop, scale up, and optimise chemical and biocatalytic manufacturing processes for commercial production.
• Tech Transfer Lead: act as site focal point to align HQ data, parameters, and documentation across Production, QA, and Analytical teams.
• Biocatalytic Expertise: manage enzymatic processes, enzyme stability/reuse, and integration into production campaigns.
• Troubleshooting & CAPA: perform root-cause analysis on production deviations and implement corrective/preventive actions.
• GMP Compliance: ensure all process modifications, documentation, and risk assessments comply with GMP standards.

• Process Scale-Up & Optimisation: Design lab experiments to develop, scale up, and optimize chemical and biocatalytic manufacturing processes for commercial production.

• Tech Transfer Lead: Act as site focal point to align HQ research data, critical parameters, and documentation across Production, QA, and Analytical teams.

• Biocatalytic Expertise: Manage enzymatic processes, enzyme stability/reuse, and integration into active production campaigns.

• Troubleshooting & CAPA: Perform root-cause analysis on production deviations and establish effective corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).

• GMP Compliance: Ensure all process modifications, documentation, and risk assessments comply with GMP regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Degree: Minimum Bachelor’s in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Chemical Engineering.

• Experience: Organic synthesis or process chemistry experience preferred.

• Working Conditions: Hands-on lab/manufacturing environment; willing to support infrequent off-hours/overnight operational needs during active campaigns.
