Job summary

KANEKA SINGAPORE CO. (PTE) LTD. is seeking a chemistry-focused professional to design and run experiments and analytical work that support campaign decisions, troubleshooting, and process robustness.

You will coordinate end-to-end technical transfer of new products, drive CAPA and risk assessments, investigate root causes, and help develop scalable chemical processes that are GMP-compliant and reproducible at commercial scale.

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related fields with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in inorganic synthesis or process chemistry desirable.
• Willing to work in a manufacturing environment with some off-hours support for critical campaigns.
• Able to work in a chemical laboratory and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Design and run experiments and analytical work that support campaign decisions and process robustness.
• Coordinate end-to-end technical transfer of new products across functions and sites.
• Drive campaigns to support stable production and conduct quality risk assessments.
• Investigate technical issues using data- and evidence-based root-cause analysis and implement CAPA with defined owners and timelines.
• Develop and implement chemical manufacturing processes, including scale-up and technology transfers, ensuring GMP compliance.
• Document process knowledge and troubleshooting outcomes for transfer and training.
