Job summary

SSMC in Singapore is seeking an Associate Engineer to join the Thin Film team. You will support the running of production and ensure equipment readiness and readiness for production. Training will be provided for candidates without experience.

Responsibilities include assisting process engineers, performing 12-hour rotating shifts, and maintaining quality by monitoring tool performance and defect data. You will work in a clean room environment and contribute to safe, efficient manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Microelectronics or related engineering disciplines.
• Candidates without experience are welcome; training will be provided.
• Basic engineering knowledge: semiconductor devices theory, electronics, electrical/pneumatic/hydraulic control systems, digital principles, wafer fabrication processes, pumps and vacuum systems, electrical wiring.

Responsibilities

• Assist CVD process engineers in production line activities to achieve operations goals.
• Perform 12-hour shift duties to support production and ensure tool readiness for production.
• Monitor and tune process quality to meet product requirements.
• Assist new engineers on the job training as a buddy.
• Collect and review data on defects and tool faults; dispose products per procedures.

We’re searching for anAssociate Engineerto be part of ourThin Filmdiverse team of talent. You will support the running of Production and ensure equipment readiness and worthiness for production.

What you will be working on:

• To assist CVD process engineers in production line related activities to achieve operation goals
• Perform shift duties (12 hours) to support production line related to CVD to ensure process integrity of tools for production
• Monitor and sustain SPC (fine tuning of processes) to ensure quality of products meet requirements
• Assist new Associate Engineers on their On-The-Job-Training (OJT) by acting as their buddy
• Obtains data of products affected by tool faults & dispose products according to procedure within expected time
• Obtains data of products exceed defects warning limits and dispose products according to procedure; Ensure suspected tool recover to baseline defects performance before release for production run.
• Obtains, review and analysis defect and WAT data for products as per procedure
• Provide proper and accurate pass down of line issues, outstanding tasks and document properly. Able to take over pass down and follow up on outstanding tasks diligently
• Set-up metrology recipes in respective metrology tools of thin film area and able to perform regular house-keeping
• Ensure and follow good housekeeping and job safety practices when work in office and in fab area
• Communicate with relevant parties during shift works and Escalate in time at situation defined as per sop defined
• Maintain good housekeeping in the production area, ensuring good safety practice and also safe custody of tools, equipment and other properties belonging to the Module
• Participate in Transform Platform
