Job summary

IOTALENTS PTE. LTD. seeks a Process Analyst to support a banking digitalisation and process transformation programme. You will partner with Business, IT, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Control teams to document, improve, and digitalise existing processes.

Responsibilities include discovery sessions, current-state documentation, and building a reusable process repository. The role supports governance, controls, and future-state workflows in a regulated environment.

Job description

We are looking for a Process Analyst to support a banking digitalisation and process transformation programme. The successful candidate will work closely with Business, IT, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Control teams to understand, document, improve, and digitalise existing business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Business and IT teams to understand, document, and improve existing banking processes.
• Conduct process discovery sessions with business users, operations teams, technology stakeholders, Risk, Compliance, and Control functions.
• Document and codify current-state processes, including process steps, business rules, roles and responsibilities, handoffs, controls, exceptions, and system touchpoints.
• Build and maintain a structured process repository to support the bank’s digitalisation programme.
• Review existing processes and identify opportunities for simplification, standardisation, streamlining, digitalisation, and automation.
• Assess processes across areas such as wealth management operations, portfolio financing, AML/KYC, and banking back-office operations.
• Work with Automation Engineers to identify processes suitable for automation using Microsoft Power Automate, workflow platforms, business process tools, RPA, or Python-based automation, where applicable.
• Translate business process requirements into clear documentation that can be used by IT and automation teams.
• Support the definition of future-state processes, workflows, and operating models.
• Prepare and maintain process maps, process narratives, SOPs, business requirements documents, user stories, and control documentation.
• Support the prioritisation of process digitalisation opportunities based on business value, complexity, feasibility, control impact, and delivery effort.
• Ensure process documentation is clear, reusable, auditable, and aligned with governance requirements.
• Support the programme team in delivering process improvement and digitalisation initiatives within targeted timelines.

Required Experience:

• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience as a Process Analyst, Business Analyst, Operations Analyst, Transformation Analyst, or in a similar role.
• Strong experience in process discovery, process mapping, process documentation, and requirements gathering.
• Experience working across Business and IT teams.
• Strong ability to understand operational processes and translate them into structured, reusable documentation.
• Experience identifying process improvement, streamlining, digitalisation, and automation opportunities.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively with Business, IT, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Control stakeholders.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with good attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively within a structured banking or regulated environment.

Preferred Experience

• Banking or financial services experience.
• Experience in wealth management operations, portfolio financing, AML, KYC, compliance operations, or banking back-office processes.
• Exposure to process digitalisation, workflow automation, RPA, low-code/no-code platforms, or operational transformation.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Power Automate, business process management platforms, workflow tools, or process repository tools.
• Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, process re-engineering, or operational excellence methodologies.
• Experience working within an established enterprise governance or internal delivery framework.
