Job summary

Brookfield Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Singapore-qualified lawyer to join the BPW Legal and Regulatory Team in our Singapore office.

The Associate will handle distribution and fund-related agreements, supporting private wealth channels and platforms globally while aligning with regulatory requirements. The role involves advising on regulation, governance, and marketing of Brookfield funds within wealth management channels, across closed-end and open-end funds, evergreen and feeder funds,

Qualifications

Qualified to practice law in Singapore.
3+ years of experience in private funds and distribution matters.
In-house experience preferred but candidates from private practice considered.
Strong communication and commercial advisory skills.

Responsibilities

Negotiate distribution, selling and other product distribution agreements with wealth management intermediaries and platforms.
Engage with internal/external legal counsel during negotiations with intermediaries.
Coordinate with technology platform partners to develop feeder fund structures for distribution.
Advise on cross-border sale of US and EU funds and offshore feeder funds into APAC jurisdictions.
Assist in responding to due diligence queries from prospective investors about Brookfield fund structures.
