Qualifications

• This position requires at least 3 years of relevant working experience.
• Previous experience in a private plastic surgery specialist practice.
• Experience liaising with insurance companies, third-party administrators and hospital business offices.
• Experience coordinating and booking patients for procedures or surgery at private hospitals and/or day surgery facilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare consultation and treatment rooms, patients, documentation and required equipment before clinics and procedures.
• Assist the surgeon during consultations, minor procedures and aesthetic treatments within the nursing scope.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing support.
• Perform wound care and dressing changes.
• Assist with suture removal and post-operative reviews where appropriate.
• Take standardised clinical photographs with proper consent and privacy safeguards.
• Provide patients with approved pre-operative, procedure and aftercare information.
• Support chaperoning, room turnover, infection-control procedures and supply handling.
• Identify and track outstanding clinical actions and follow-ups to prevent delays.
