Job summary

Staffking Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a dedicated private educator/family assistant to provide daily care, companionship, supervision and emotional support to children. You will support homework, reading, school projects and routines, communicate progress with teachers, and organize educational, creative, sporting and recreational activities.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor's degree in education, psychology or child development, with strong English, excellent organizational and interpersonal

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, child development or related field preferred.
• Previous experience as private educator, family assistant, teacher, or in a private household, school, or enrichment center.
• Strong spoken and written English are an advantage.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, proactive, discreet, adaptable, and passionate about child development.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care, companionship, supervision, and emotional support to the children.
• Support homework, reading, school projects, and academic routines.
• Communicate with teachers regarding the children’s learning progress and needs.
• Organize educational, creative, sporting, and recreational activities.
• Accompany children to school, classes, appointments, activities, and outings.
• Maintain a healthy balance between studies, outdoor activities, recreation, and screen time.
• Ensure school materials, and daily necessities are well organized.
