Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Business, Banking & Finance or progress towards degree.
• Minimum 4 years in financial institutions, preferably middle office.
• Experience in back-office operations: processing, reconciliation, securities transfer.
• Attention to detail and conscientiousness.
• Ability to work independently under pressure and tight timelines.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to interact at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Handle CASA retention renewal, adhoc retention and fresh funds requests.
• Perform internal account opening, maintenance and closure instructions.
• Handle internal securities transfers
• Process fees (account services and custody)
• Reconcile transactions and prepare daily reports
• Prepare client letters and CRS/ reporting related queries
• Collaborate with front, middle and back offices to improve processes
• Liaise with back office to ensure timely processing of transactions
• Address queries from front to back office; undertake ad-hoc supervisor tasks
